Kimitoön celebrates 700 years in 2025!
The celebrations continue throughout the year and offer unique events focusing on culture, art, the environment, the archipelago, and the local life.
The Festival Week 9-15 June 2025
For Kimitoön’s festival week we have chosen places and themes that are important to the island. On each day, either a place or a theme, or both, will be highlighted.
Kimitoön’s anniversary year will culminate in a festival week in early summer, organised in cooperation with local partners. The idea behind the festival week, and especially the main concert FEST700 on Saturday, is to invite everyone to join in the celebrations!
