Kimitoön at the Matka Travel Fair
Matka Travel Fair 2025 will take place on 16th to 19th of January at the Helsinki Exhibition Centre. Kimitoön will participate in the fair with 9 exhibitors and share the stand with Hanko, Raseborg and Salo. Come and say hello to us at section 6r48!
What we offer at the fair
At our stand this year you can, among other things,
- discover the Coastal Route, which runs through Kimitoön, Hanko, Raseborg and Salo, and its interesting attractions
- try delicious local food products and buy them to bring home with you from our Archipelago Shop
- find out about events, products and offers related to Kimitoön’s 700th anniversary year
- take part in prize draws

Kimitoön 700 years
Kimitoön is celebrating 700 years in 2025! The anniversary celebrations will take place throughout the year, featuring events focused on culture, art, environment, archipelago, and local life. The highlight will be the festival week from June 9–15, with the main event, Fest700, in Dalsbruk on June 14. In addition, local associations and actors will offer a wide range of activities throughout the year – a fantastic opportunity to experience the best of Kimitoön!
