Canoeing and boating routes
Kimitoislands and the archipelago is a canoeist’s and boater’s dream destination, where the scenic landscapes and maze of islands and archipelago villages offer unforgettable experiences.
For novice paddlers, lakes and sheltered inland archipelago offer good conditions for short trips. Kimitoislands also offers rental services for SUP boats, kayaks and canoes, as well as guide services for kayaking trips. For those with more paddling experience or those who travel by boat, canoeing trips of up to more than a week can be planned in the outer archipelago, where you will find the magnificent sites of the Archipelago National Park. For the more adventurous, one route option is the Sea Eagle Trail around the main island, which can also be done by boat.
Both motorboat and sailboat rentals are available. The archipelago has a number of marinas and guest marinas for boaters.
