The most vesatile bicycle route of Finland's archipelago, the Coastal Route, combines five ironworks villages, three national parks and the greatest views of the Archipelago Sea all in one. The route is around 200 kilometers long, and goes from the Kimitoön island out through the archipelago to Hanko, Ekenäs, Teijo, Salon and back to Kimitoön. The route is perfect for making also shorter laps or detours to the sights and activities nearby. Bicycles can be rented from almost 20 rentals along the way. Paths and trails
The Kimito Island offer plenty of short hiking trails which show the best of the areas forests and sea shores. Durations variates from half an hour to a half day.
40 000 islands and skerries
There are more than 40 000 islands on the Archipelago Sea. About 3000 of them belongs to the Kimito Island. Experience the pearls of the archipelago by boat trips. Sail with a sailing ship to the Örö fortress island, rent a boat or try kayaking. There is a lot to do for the archipelago lovers!
