Vänö Nature Trail

The longer trail on Vänö island that is approximately 2.5 km takes you over a pastureland through a heather moor and a forest. Near the trail on the nort side of the isalnd you can see sheepbacks (Roche moutonnéés) or other rock fromations created by the moving ice during the ice age.

You can take your own boat, taxi boat, the ferryboat Stella and even kayak to Vänö. On the island there are two nature trails. The terrain and landscape along the trails vary and there's a possibility for the walkers to meet livestock that graze on the island.

Read more about the other trail that leads to the chapel.
